Having grown up on a farm raising livestock, Joe Keys knew the impact that a healthy diet can have on animals. When Joe opened Keys Manufacturing in 1991, he had two things in mind: creating a product that was safe and of high quality for animals, and exceeding customers’ expectations. Over the years, because of the dedication of both our employees and leadership, we at Keys Manufacturing have been able to meet these two goals and plan to continue doing so in the future.
Through our Quality Management System, we document and implement different practices to make sure our products are safe for our customers. We use the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and the Regulatory Agencies that govern its products to improve our food safety system.
Our staff is involved in all aspects of production; they understand our policy, our commitment, and our customers’ needs. They are part of our continuous improvement team which feeds off our system reviews. At Keys, we have established a food safety and quality team, providing them with training and support to enable them to advance the continuous improvement driven by management. The dedication of our staff is a main contributor to our success.
